On becoming a Life Coach

I wanted to share my story of why I became a Life Coach. Have you ever thought of yourself as a problem solver, a fixer, an advisor, a friendly ear? I always felt that way. Friends would come to me for help. I would listen and dish out advice. But it never felt quite right. I that my opinion would just be one voice in many and probably added to confusion, rather than helping.

And then one day I heard about Life Coaching. A totally different way of helping someone. A way of allowing them to find the answers that were inside them all along. 'Wow' I thought, 'that sounds magical'. And so began my journey into becoming a Life Coach.

I trained with the fantastic Simply Changing Academy, learning person centred and NLP coaching techniques. Along the way discovering so many techniques which were helpful to me. And now I can pass them on to others! I will be telling you lots more about these tools and techniques in future blogs. For now, let me just tell you that I found that magic I was looking for and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all.

Take care
